Read the Bible as a Novel
For many, reading the Bible can be difficult and hard to follow the story. Why? Some of the authors were farmers, herders, fishermen, politicians, religious leaders, et al. Few were trained in grammar or journalism in their day. This can lead to misunderstanding the words stated and cause interpretation difficulties for today's readers. My novels attempt to keep a storyline that follows the actual chronology of the Bible without removing its message.

I have dedicated my writing time to creating a chronological series of novels on the Bible. Called the GRAND ADVENTURE SERIES, my novels attempt to bring the Bible narrative in a flowing, contemporary style that will help fill in many chronological gaps. Most of my novel characters will be found in the Bible itself. However, some unnamed and fictional characters and dialogue have been inserted, providing clarity and smoothness through every chapter. The GRAND ADVENTURE SERIES is a creation of author Johnnie R. Jones. The series will be novels that enhance the characters and stories as found in the most read and most published book in history—the Bible. Stories in the Bible have time gaps and chronological anomalies of which readers are unaware. This series fills in many of the difficult spots with character dialogue and drama that bring each story alive. Fictional characters are added to clarify many scenes.
